Job Overview:
One of our key clients is looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Vice President (SVP) of Revenue Operations to lead their revenue strategy and optimize their go-to-market performance. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s growth by aligning sales, marketing, customer success, and operations to drive sustainable revenue growth. As part of the executive leadership team, you will be responsible for implementing scalable systems, processes, and insights to accelerate customer acquisition, retention, and expansion in the rapidly evolving WealthTech space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Revenue Strategy & Execution:
- Define, implement, and refine revenue strategies in alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to develop comprehensive go-to-market strategies that drive predictable and sustainable revenue growth.
- Cross-Departmental Alignment:
- Align and integrate sales, marketing, finance, and customer success teams to ensure a seamless customer journey.
- Act as the central point of contact between these teams to improve collaboration, reduce friction, and enhance overall efficiency.
- Sales Operations Management:
- Build, lead, and manage a high-performing sales operations team.
- Implement and optimize sales processes, performance metrics, and CRM systems to ensure efficient deal flow and pipeline management.
- Lead forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes for the revenue teams.
- Data & Performance Analytics:
- Establish a data-driven culture by implementing KPIs, dashboards, and advanced analytics to track revenue performance, conversion rates, and customer lifetime value.
- Provide strategic insights into customer behavior, sales effectiveness, and market trends to guide leadership decision-making.
- Revenue Technology & Tools:
- Oversee the selection, implementation, and optimization of revenue technology tools (e.g., CRM, marketing automation, and analytics platforms).
- Ensure the tech stack supports data-driven decision-making and integrates with key business systems.
- Customer Lifecycle Optimization:
- Lead initiatives to enhance the customer acquisition, retention, and expansion processes.
- Implement customer success strategies to maximize customer satisfaction, reduce churn, and promote upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
- Financial Modeling & Reporting:
- Collaborate closely with the finance team to build revenue models, measure profitability, and monitor ROI on sales and marketing initiatives.
- Regularly report on revenue growth forecasts and contribute to board-level discussions.
- Leadership & Team Development:
- Build, mentor, and develop a world-class Revenue Operations team.
- Foster a results-driven culture that encourages innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Key Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in revenue operations, sales operations, or a related leadership role, ideally within the FinTech, WealthTech, or SaaS industry.
- Proven track record of successfully aligning cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, customer success) to achieve revenue growth.
- Strong knowledge of CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), marketing automation tools, and sales analytics platforms.
- Experience in data-driven decision-making and advanced revenue analytics, with a strong understanding of key revenue KPIs and metrics.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience scaling a fast-growing startup or working in a high-growth environment is a plus.
- Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills and a bias for action.
