ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
WHO YOU ARE:
Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Account Executive is a hunter who thrives on working autonomously to source, identify, and engage with industry-specific prospects. Through cold calling and outbound efforts, you will create pipeline opportunities and close new business across a diverse suite of products.
As a collaborative team player, you’ll contribute to the success of both the company and your colleagues. You’ll continuously seek to innovate and improve processes and best practices, impacting not just the bottom line but also the overall team dynamic.
In your role as a hunter, you’ll use independent judgment to uncover prospect needs and align them with tailored solutions. The Mid Market Account Executive will focus on identifying and securing new business using a consultative approach, gaining a deep understanding of prospect needs, and aligning them with the platform’s product offerings. A growth mindset and a focus on continuous improvement are essential qualities for success in this role.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Drive outbound activity to source new leads in targeted verticals, create pipeline opportunities, and close new business across the product suite.
- Independently refine messaging, pitch, value proposition, and positioning.
- Own and manage the full quota-driven sales cycle from sourcing to close.
- Use independent discretion to evaluate, analyze, and determine the best product solution for prospects.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing leadership to optimize messaging, pitch, value proposition, and positioning for improved conversions and new business acquisition.
- Deliver engaging product demos to prospects that align with the target audience.
Other Responsibilities:
- Serve as a subject matter expert to customers, helping solve business challenges and guiding clients to improve workflow efficiencies.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders to shape go-to-market strategy and execution.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by reviewing industry publications, establishing personal networks, benchmarking state-of-the-art practices, and participating in professional societies.
- Be prepared for 50% or greater travel as required.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of experience in sales, preferably in SaaS or Fintech.
- Comfortable making cold calls to highly targeted prospects.
- Proven ability to source and close leads that fit the ideal customer profile (ICP) and align with company objectives.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales and activity quotas.
- Proficient in Salesforce, Google Workspace, ZoomInfo, or other sales-related platforms.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with teams.
- High energy, positive attitude, strong organizational skills, and keen attention to detail.
