This Account Executive position aims to develops, grows and retains strategic, long-term partnerships with new clients. This position works within a select geographic group of clients and prospective clients to promote the products/services. This role ensures working closely with K-12 educators and colleagues in all departments throughout the company. This position reports to a Regional Vice President of Sales.
What You’ll Do:
- Drive Sales: Exceed sales goals by building strong relationships with key decision-makers in school districts (Superintendents, Directors of Curriculum, etc.).
- Become a Trusted Partner: Develop long-term partnerships with new clients, identify business opportunities, and present customized educational solutions aligned with their needs.
- Education Champion: Promote the value of the clients innovative products and services, demonstrating how they can improve student outcomes.
- Collaborative Spirit: Work with colleagues across departments to deliver exceptional customer service and ensure success for each client.
What You Bring:
- Education Expertise: A Bachelor’s degree in Education (Master’s preferred) with 5+ years of experience in education, business development, and strategic account management.
- Proven Sales Track Record: A history of success in consultative B2B sales, preferably within the EdTech industry.
- Relationship Builder: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, adept at connecting with stakeholders at all levels.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Salesforce.com and other relevant programs.
- Problem Solver: Excellent analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to navigate complex situations.
- Results-Oriented: Highly organized, self-motivated, and driven to achieve goals.
