A prominent company in the FinTech space is looking for a seasoned and motivated Account Executive to become a part of our team. In this role, you will be pivotal in driving business expansion and transforming how organizations utilize AI for decision-making. Position Overview: As an Account Executive, you will be instrumental in driving revenue growth by identifying and cultivating new business opportunities while managing and expanding current client relationships. You will contribute to the company’s mission by effectively positioning our AI-driven products and services to potential clients, thereby playing a crucial role in transforming how businesses operate.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities.
- Build and sustain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Conduct detailed analyses of client needs to understand their business challenges and objectives.
- Present and showcase our AI-powered solutions and services effectively to potential clients.
- Negotiate agreements and close new business deals while efficiently managing sales cycles.
- Formulate and implement strategies to target and engage potential customers.
- Represent the company as a brand advocate within local and industry communities through event participation and thought leadership.
- Maintain a strong record of ethical engagement with partners, their teams, and your colleagues.
- Achieve results in alignment with the company’s culture and brand ethos.
- Adhere to company protocols for internal CRM tools, ensuring accurate activity tracking as a key aspect of our sales methodology.
- Maintain open communication with the sales and marketing teams to support and promote campaigns.
- Regularly monitor top competitors and stay informed about industry developments.
- Actively seek new customer opportunities and participate in corporate demand generation activities, such as trade shows and conferences.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record with at least 3 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably within FinTech.
- Proven experience in small, agile startups.
- Experience in the credit/risk industry.
- Strong grasp of AI and its applications in the business landscape.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Ability to build and sustain strong client relationships.
- Self-driven and goal-oriented with a proven ability to surpass sales targets.
- Strong business insight with the capacity to comprehend complex client needs.
- Open to coaching and feedback, yet forward-thinking and willing to challenge existing norms.
- Collaborative and consultative approach to selling and building relationships.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Previous experience in risk assessment, underwriting, credit, and/or payments industry.
