About Company:

Storm4 is partnering with a leading player in the renewable energy sector, known for strategic investments in early-stage, new construction, and operating renewable projects. Our client has invested $1B in projects and is actively looking to grow.
 

Responsibilities:

• Assist in marketing initiatives and origination efforts with prospective financing partners.
• Prepare confidential information memoranda and financial models under the guidance of senior capital markets team members.
• Aid in structuring, negotiating, and conducting due diligence for financing transactions, while coordinating third-party consultants and legal advisors.
• Contribute tax equity and debt assumptions for project valuations, under the supervision of the Senior Director
• Assist in the internal review of financing alternatives to optimize returns and achieve the firm’s strategic objectives.
• Provide assistance to the Asset Management team in preparing reports and compliance documents for financing stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Able to work in NYC office
• 3+ years experience in investment banking, power generation, or electric utility industries
• Expertise in auditing financial models to ensure the accuracy of all assumptions and data.
• Proficiency in creating and refining advanced Excel models, including those for financial statements, valuations, LBO, and DCF analysis.
• Strong financial analysis skills, with a track record of developing and managing Excel models throughout the investment process.
• Required background in renewable energy project finance, particularly in debt and tax equity.
