In this role, you will be responsible for driving business growth, managing key accounts, and developing long-term relationships with clients in the data center sector. Your focus will be on expanding our market presence, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:

Business Development:
- Develop and execute a strategic plan to identify and pursue new business opportunities within the data center industry.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospects and leads, ensuring a steady flow of new business.
- Lead the sales process from prospecting through closing, including contract negotiation and deal execution.
- Collaborate with marketing and technical teams to develop tailored solutions that meet the specific needs of data center clients.
- Conduct thorough market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in the data center sector.
- Develop and implement strategies to differentiate our battery solutions in the marketplace and to increase market share.
- Provide insights and feedback to the product development team to ensure our offerings remain competitive and aligned with market demands.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, with a focus on the data center industry or related sectors.
- Proven track record of success in selling technical solutions, preferably in the energy storage, battery, or power solutions markets.
- Industry Knowledge:
- Deep understanding of lithium and VRLA battery technologies and their applications within data centers.
- Sales Acumen:
- Strong sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to close complex deals and manage long-term client relationships.
- Communication Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present solutions to both technical and executive audiences.
- Leadership:
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team, driving performance and achieving business objectives.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
