Position: Vice President of Product Management & Technical Marketing
Position Summary: We’re looking for a dynamic leader to help shape the future of clean energy! Our client is a leader in smart energy technology, and are seeking a Vice President of Product Management & Technical Marketing to drive the strategic direction of our diverse product portfolio.
This position plays a key role in leading the development and execution of product roadmaps, market strategies, and aligning cross-functional teams to ensure success in the evolving solar and energy technology landscape. This is an opportunity to make a significant impact in the solar industry, contributing to innovative solutions that push the boundaries of renewable energy technology.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as a key member of the leadership team, working closely with both regional and global product leadership to advance the company’s solar technology strategy.
- Lead the development and execution of product roadmaps and go-to-market strategies, ensuring a consistent and unified voice across all channels.
- Prioritize and balance short-term deliverables with long-term strategic goals, communicating the product roadmap effectively to stakeholders.
- Identify and evaluate new revenue opportunities, including SaaS and services, to drive product innovation and growth.
- Manage cross-functional product initiatives, ensuring smooth execution from concept to market within a global context.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and foster continuous improvement.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the product team, ensuring clarity around expectations, milestones, and objectives.
- Support strategic business planning efforts, contributing to early product definition, value proposition development, and market differentiation.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, maintain technical expertise, and collaborate with key customers to develop cutting-edge products.
- Lead innovation and product launches within the North American market in partnership with global leadership.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in business development, sales leadership, or executive management within the renewable energy sector.
- Strong technical knowledge in power electronics and the solar market is highly preferred.
- Proven success in driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and forming strategic partnerships.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of inspiring and guiding teams toward common objectives.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to foresee market trends and create innovative solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to excel in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
