Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough and precise site assessments for EVSE installations, ensuring compliance with project scopes.
- Create detailed field sketches, notes, and site assessment documentation according to specific program requirements, and provide regular updates to internal teams.
- Design electrical infrastructure and develop accurate project pricing in collaboration with the Site Engineer, preparing comprehensive bid packages for subcontractor and utility review.
- Collaborate with third-party Electrical PEs to develop and review stamped plans when necessary.
- Serve as Safety Officer for construction services, advising on safety policies, managing OSHA logs, and overseeing subcontractor relationships and evaluations.
- Evaluate contract pricing and provide mentorship to team members in the EVSE segment.
- Assist Project Managers with utility design scopes for new service requests and complex infrastructure projects.
- Act as a subject matter expert for the sales team and customers, providing technical and construction guidance.
- Identify and implement improvements in construction design and management processes.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Licensed Master Electrician or equivalent, with 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Associate degree in electrical, construction, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in the design and construction of EVSE infrastructure.
- Experience working with utilities on service work order requests for single and three-phase services.
- Ability to read EVSE schematics and facility drawings.
- Must hold a valid driver’s license with a clean record.
- Ability to safely climb ladders and adhere to safety protocols.
- Experience in site assessment processes.
- Strong ability to interpret engineering proposals and create detailed reports.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for effective business interaction.
- Hybrid role with regular travel to job sites (25-40%) across Massachusetts and the northeast (day trips).
