💰 Salary: $90K – 110K Base.
I’m partnered with an industry leader in EV charging solutions, and we’re looking for an Account Manager (RFP Experience) to join the team! This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about sustainable energy and skilled in managing the proposal process from start to finish.
You’ll be instrumental in identifying new business opportunities, managing proposal responses, and collaborating closely with the sales and cross-functional teams. Your expertise will directly impact the company’s ability to secure high-value contracts in the rapidly growing EV charging industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Bid Discovery: Research and pinpoint new bidding opportunities in both the public and private sectors.
- Account Management: Establish and nurture strong, lasting relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are addressed throughout the proposal process and beyond.
- Proposal Development: Create and submit persuasive, competitive RFP responses while ensuring adherence to all client requirements and deadlines.
- Collaborative Efforts: Gather insights and contributions from subject matter experts across the organization to produce impactful proposals.
- Client Liaison: Act as the main contact for any questions or clarifications related to the RFP process.
- Client Retention: Build enduring partnerships with clients by providing excellent support after RFP submissions and ensuring continued satisfaction.
- Process Enhancement: Continuously refine internal processes, templates, and resources to enhance the efficiency of responses.
- Post-Bid Review: Analyze the results of bid submissions to benchmark against competitors and identify opportunities for improvement.
Requirements:
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the EV charging industry or related fields.
- Proposal Management Experience: Proven experience overseeing the proposal process within the built environment.
- Client Management Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in Adobe and Microsoft Office Suite are required.
- Communication Skills: Excellent writing, editing, and organizational abilities to effectively manage complex projects with strict deadlines.
- Collaborative Ability: Proven track record of working effectively across all levels of an organization.
