    Role Overview:
    My client is looking for a results-driven Sales Lead to lead and expand their sales efforts. You will drive new business, whilst eventually building and leading a high-performing sales team, to help scale their customer base across clients from SMB through Enterprise. Your role will focus on developing sales strategies, nurturing client relationships, and overseeing sales operations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth.
    • Lead and motivate a sales team, providing guidance and support to achieve goals.
    • Identify new business opportunities, convert leads, and maintain long-term client relationships.
    • Manage CRM systems and sales reporting, ensuring pipeline efficiency.
    • Stay informed on market trends and competitor activities to adjust sales tactics.

    What You Bring:

    • 5+ years of sales experience, ideally in financial wellness and/or employee benefits.
    • Proven success in meeting sales targets and leading teams.
    • Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
    • CRM proficiency (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
    • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

About Our Client
 
Storm4 are exclusively partnered with a market-leading Energy Demand Response platform from Europe who are rapidly scaling in the US.
 
Our clients have developed market leading, proprietary technology, for use by Large Commercial & Industrial energy users E.G. Data Centers, Manufacturing, and Food & Beverage clients. 
 
They are heavily geared towards personal development: this role has the potential to develop into the Managing Director for US Sales, and the client pays out $3k and 10 days optional leave annually to spend on personal development and training activities.
 
Title: Director of Business Development
 
Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation and prospecting new logos
  • Full sales cycle ownership – discovery to close
  • Carry out site assessments to test clients suitability for Demand Response programmes
  • Develop client base through land and expand sales model
  • Represent the company at in person client meetings and industry trade shows

 
 
Requirements

  • Demonstrated history of success in sales
  • 7+ years in the ERCOT energy market; across either generation, retail or demand response
  • Degree level education in Engineering, Business or Finance
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Existing relationships with Commercial and Industrial clients in Texas.
