Position Overview:
As an Account Executive, you will play a key role in driving new business and expanding the customer base by selling our embedded finance solutions. This is a client-facing, revenue-generating role where you will be responsible for managing the entire sales cycle—from prospecting to closing deals—with a focus on acquiring new strategic enterprise clients across vertical SaaS/platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop strategies, meet sales targets, and ensure client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement targeted sales strategies to generate leads and expand our client base within the embedded finance space.
- Client Acquisition: Identify, prospect, and close new business opportunities with enterprise clients across various industries, including retail, eCommerce, and SaaS.
- Product Expertise: Maintain a deep understanding of our embedded finance offerings (payments, lending, banking) and effectively communicate value propositions to potential clients.
- Sales Process Management: Manage the full sales cycle, from initial contact to closing, ensuring a smooth transition from sales to customer success teams.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders in client organizations, ensuring satisfaction and opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to align on strategies and deliver impactful sales presentations.
- Sales Targets: Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets, reporting regularly on progress and key metrics.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Account Executive or in a sales role within the fintech/embedded finance.
- Strong track record of success in B2B sales, with a demonstrated ability to close large enterprise platform deals.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with decision-makers.
- Self-starter with a results-driven attitude and the ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of the embedded finance ecosystem (payments, lending, banking solutions) is a plus.
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to evolving client needs.
- Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field preferred.
