They are in the process of securing their Series A round and are looking for a dynamic and experienced Head of Sales to join their team and drive the expansion of the business across enterprise clients.
Position Overview:
My client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Sales to lead and scale their sales function. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, driving revenue growth through new business acquisition, client retention, and strategic/channel partnerships. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of both the payroll industry/cross-border payments and will also be crypto fluent space, along with a proven track record of scaling sales teams and building strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Sales Strategy: Design and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive company revenue and achieve growth targets.
- New Business Development: Identify and target new business opportunities within the crypto, fintech, and payroll industries, expanding the company’s client base.
- Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring satisfaction, renewals, and upsell opportunities.
- Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform sales strategies and ensure the company remains competitive.
- Sales Operations: Oversee the sales pipeline, reporting, forecasting, and CRM systems to ensure smooth operations and accurate performance tracking.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure alignment on messaging, product offerings, and customer experience.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience (7+ years) in senior sales roles, preferably in fintech.
- Strong understanding of cross-border payments, crypto/blockchain technology, and payroll systems.
- Excellent track record of scaling sales teams and driving revenue growth.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically, develop and execute sales plans, and adapt in a fast-changing environment.
- A results-driven approach with a strong focus on meeting targets and KPIs.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments in a fast-paced, startup environment.
