Job Description: Vice President of Sales
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Vice President of Sales to lead and execute the sales strategy for our organization. In this senior leadership role, you will drive revenue growth, manage a high-performing sales team, and collaborate with executive leadership to align sales initiatives with the company’s overall goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive business growth across markets.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
- Set and manage annual sales targets, ensuring alignment with company objectives.

Team Development and Management:
- Recruit, onboard, and mentor a high-performing sales team.
- Provide ongoing coaching and professional development to enhance individual and team performance.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Lead negotiations for high-value contracts and strategic partnerships.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client engagements.

Performance Monitoring:
- Monitor sales metrics and KPIs to assess team performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Generate accurate sales forecasts and deliver reports to the executive team.
- Leverage CRM tools and analytics to streamline sales processes and improve efficiency.

Collaboration:
- Partner with Marketing, Product, and Operations teams to ensure alignment on go-to-market strategies.
- Provide feedback from the field to influence product development and marketing initiatives.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior sales role.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and motivating a distributed sales team.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Data-driven mindset with proficiency in CRM platforms and sales analytics tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
