    Role Overview:
    My client is looking for a results-driven Sales Lead to lead and expand their sales efforts. You will drive new business, whilst eventually building and leading a high-performing sales team, to help scale their customer base across clients from SMB through Enterprise. Your role will focus on developing sales strategies, nurturing client relationships, and overseeing sales operations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth.
    • Lead and motivate a sales team, providing guidance and support to achieve goals.
    • Identify new business opportunities, convert leads, and maintain long-term client relationships.
    • Manage CRM systems and sales reporting, ensuring pipeline efficiency.
    • Stay informed on market trends and competitor activities to adjust sales tactics.

    What You Bring:

    • 5+ years of sales experience, ideally in financial wellness and/or employee benefits.
    • Proven success in meeting sales targets and leading teams.
    • Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
    • CRM proficiency (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
    • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

About the Role
As CEO, you will:

  • Spearhead business development efforts while driving overall company strategy and execution.
  • Scale and expand the company’s presence in voluntary carbon markets, connecting renewable energy generators with top-tier buyers.
  • Leverage your experience to oversee all executive functions beyond business development, ensuring operational excellence.

 
What We’re Looking For

  • Proven Leadership: SVP+ level experience in Business Development with a demonstrated ability to scale businesses.
  • Strategic Vision: Expertise in navigating global marketplaces and building strong partnerships with high-profile clients (FAANGs and Fortune 500 companies).
  • Deep experience in the US REC markets

 
What’s on Offer

  • Compensation: Base salary of $300,000–$350,000 (depending on experience), with 100% performance-based bonus potential.
  • Equity: generous equity, vested over several years, providing a meaningful stake in the company’s success.
  • Location: Must be US-based, with a preference for San Francisco or New York City.
